LG Announces Raspberry Rose Colour Variant of the LG V30 Ahead of CES 2018
South Korean electronics giant, LG has announced a new Raspberry Rose colour variant of its latest flagship smartphone, the LG V30 today. LG stated that the new colour option variant would be showcased at the CES 2018 booth scheduled to kickstart next week. To recall, LG launched the V30 flagship device at the IFA 2017 show in Berlin in four colour options- Aurora Black, Cloud Silver, Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet.
LG did not announce when the new colour variant is coming to the Indian market, and we’re not even sure whether it will land in India or not. “Raspberry Rose, an intense, saturated version of red, is a hue quite unlike any previous smartphone colour offered by LG or its competitors. Designed for fashion-conscious smartphone users, LG created a unique colour that provides outstanding visibility and to makes this V30 an ideal Valentine’s Day gift,” said LG in a media release about the new Raspberry Rose colour variant of the LG V30.
LG confirmed that the new colour variant would be available in South Korea right after the CES 2018 event, followed by key Asian and European markets.
LG recently launched the upgraded version of the LG V30, the V30+ in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 44,900, the LG V30+ is one of the best devices you can purchase today. In recent times, LG has been struggling to get into the competitive market, which is the primary reason behind the sensible pricing approach from the company.
The V30+ sports a 6-inch pOLED display with QHD+ resolution. It is powered by the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. If you’re a storage hogger, you can expand the storage up to 2TB with a microSD card.
The highlight of the V30+ is the glass and metal design. At the back of the phone, we get two cameras- a primary 16MP shooter coupled with a secondary 13MP 120-degree wide-angle sensor. The massive letdown in the V30+ is the 5MP front-facing camera. The device offers additional features such as wireless charging, Quad DAC, MIL-STD 810G certification, and it’s also IP68 water & dust certified smartphone.
The device boots Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and is expected to receive Android 8.0 Oreo update very soon. This package is backed by a 3300mAh battery.
