Zanco tiny t1 is the World’s Smallest Mobile Phone With a 0.49-inch OLED Display

Zanco tiny t1 is now claimed to be the world’s smallest mobile phone. The Zanco tiny t1 is a Kickstarter project, which recently got added to the campaign. This device is claimed to feature just a 0.49-inch OLED display with a weight of just 13 grams. Under an early bird offer, the tiny t1 is listed at Euro 30 (approx. Rs 2,300). The smallest mobile phone is expected to ship to most of the countries in May 2018.

This project was listed in Kickstarter campaign very recently and has received enough response. Currently, the Zanco tiny t1 achieved USD 55,970, with a total of 896 backers for the project. The goal set for the project was USD 33,397. Interested customers can also ship the mobile phone to India as well, but it will be available in limited units. To be specific, only 1000 units are made available initially, and currently, only 208 are left for purchase.

Diving into the specifications, the Kickstarter project page states that Zanco tiny t1 will work with any mobile phone network across the globe. Users just need to insert their nano-SIM card onto the mobile phone and start using it.

Also, do make note that it can operate only on 2G network. The phone will be available in 2band frequencies – 850/1900 and 900/1800. The Kickstarter campaign page states that customers will be able to select the frequency band according to the country in a post-campaign survey. The Zanco tiny t1 is a talk and text mobile phone, and tt does not have internet capability.

The device measures 46.7x21x12mm and weigh 13 grams. It can store up to 300 contacts and 50 SMSs. There’s 32MB of RAM, 32MB of internal storage, and it has a MediaTek MTK6261D motherboard. The keypad also comes with white light, allowing users to use it even in bright light conditions. It has a micro USB port and operates in 13 voices.

Also, backing the tiny t1 is a 200mAh battery with a promised three days standby and 180 minutes of talk time.
